Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Sales & Storeperson to join a reputable and supportive team based in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. This full-time, onsite role offers a competitive hourly wage and stable Monday to Friday hours, with long-term employment prospects for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent retail sales and front-counter customer service
Handle customer inquiries and manage phone orders efficiently
Operate a forklift safely to move and manage stock
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
Process invoices and perform basic computer tasks
Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and yard
Ensure safe and efficient storage and movement of stock

Candidate Profile

Possess a full clean New Zealand driver’s license including F endorsement
Hold a current Occupational Safety and Health forklift license
Have prior experience in retail, warehousing, or customer service roles
Exhibit strong communication and customer service capabilities
Demonstrate good computer literacy and keen attention to detail
Be physically fit to handle manual tasks associated with the role
Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Have dependable transportation and legal right to work in New Zealand

A current First Aid certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and medical examination prior to commencing employment.

Working Hours and Compensation

Competitive pay at $28.95 per hour
Consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm
Immediate start available
