The role of Sales Host is essential in expanding the membership base by delivering outstanding customer engagement and supporting member retention efforts.

Role Overview

As a Sales Host, your primary focus will be to cultivate exceptional member interactions that foster membership sales and renewals, as well as support retention within the gym. You will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring high standards of service for members, guests, and prospective clients by promoting our services and products effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver personalized club tours aligned with individual fitness objectives.
Utilize strong communication and rapport-building skills to convert prospects into committed members.
Drive sales of memberships, renewals, upgrades, and additional services to increase revenue.
Follow up on leads and enquiries to boost membership conversion rates.
Foster strong relationships with members to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Maintain a warm, professional environment welcoming all members and visitors.
Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Actively promote club initiatives, products, and fitness solutions.
Support daily club operations including cleanliness, safety, and gym floor standards.
Serve as a key holder when required and assist with operational tasks and club resets.
Effectively use membership and CRM systems to manage information and enquiries.
Collaborate with club team members to meet business goals and support national campaigns and challenges.
Contribute positively to club culture and embrace responsibility for personal performance and growth.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

Demonstrated passion for fitness, sales, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing, confident demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Target-driven with enthusiasm to achieve and exceed performance goals.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays.

Preferred Experience

Background in sales, hospitality, retail, leisure, or customer service industries.
Experience working towards sales or performance targets.
Familiarity with membership sales or customer retention strategies.
Proficiency with sales, booking, or membership management systems.
