About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida and departmental policies and procedures.
- Inspect guest rooms after cleaning by Room Attendants to verify cleanliness standards are met.
- Assist in servicing guest rooms using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment according to department policies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment within assigned areas.
- Consistently promote positive guest relations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory.
- Minimum of six months of hotel cleaning experience, including knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Effective communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment
- Work is primarily in the hotel and back-of-house areas, which can be fast-paced.
- Occasional presence on the Casino Floor, exposing employees to secondhand smoke and loud noise conditions.
- Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, manual dexterity, reaching, talking, hearing, and occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
- Vision demands include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Additional Information
- Preference in hiring is given first to members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida who meet job prerequisites, followed by other federally recognized Native American tribes.
- Employment requires successful completion of gaming licensure, including credit, criminal background checks, and drug screening by Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before starting work.
- Management reserves the right to change job duties as situations warrant, such as emergencies, personnel changes, workload variations, or technical developments.
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $25.
