Job Overview
As a Receptionist at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi, you will be the welcoming face to guests by managing check-ins, check-outs, and all front office operations with professionalism and care. You will ensure guest requests and complaints are handled promptly, maintain security protocols, oversee logbooks, and coordinate smoothly with various hotel departments to guarantee a flawless guest experience while upholding the highest hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Register and process guest check-ins efficiently.
- Conduct check-outs professionally and manage guest accounts.
- Update guest data accurately in hotel systems post check-in.
- Manage cashier duties, foreign exchange transactions, night audits, and settlements for departing guests.
- Handle walk-in and call-in reservations during relevant times.
- Provide courteous and timely service to all guest inquiries and requests.
- Resolve guest complaints by coordinating with concerned departments immediately.
- Issue guest room key cards and maintain security controls.
- Distribute guest messages, mail, and packages efficiently.
- Assist with operations at the Information Counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, and Business Centre as needed.
- Have strong knowledge of hotel rates, packages, discounts, and how to apply them.
- Manage safe deposit boxes according to policies.
- Report unusual incidents promptly to management.
- Follow hotel accident prevention policies and ensure front office cleanliness and neatness.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Review and update logbooks, verify outstanding tasks, and prepare for daily arrivals with room assignments and special requests.
- Maintain continuous communication with guests to handle problems or complaints effectively.
- Check equipment functioning regularly.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Oversee daily front office operations and provide shift reports to supervisors.
- Be knowledgeable in fire and first aid procedures.
- Handle guest complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
