About the Company
Our client is a recognized leader globally in automated testing, packaging, and quality assurance equipment for the electronics industry. Their global headquarters is based in Singapore, where they operate their manufacturing division.
Job Overview
- Develop and implement the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
- Coordinate and synchronize production workflows across multiple departments, managing job demand planning for complex electronic equipment assembly.
- Ensure component availability through thorough checks to maintain uninterrupted assembly operations.
- Analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) and production capacity to determine efficient manufacturing routings.
- Oversee Engineering Change Orders (ECO) on the production floor, coordinating part phase-ins to reduce scrap waste.
- Address and resolve production delays, execute schedule recovery activities, and monitor key performance indicators such as Plan vs. Actual (PVA).
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in ERP system usage and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
