Product Reliability Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to contribute as a Product Reliability Engineer, linking real-world farming environments with engineering development to enhance the reliability and performance of global IoT solutions for farmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed investigations into product reliability and performance issues across eShepherd's international platform.
• Analyze warranty data, customer feedback, and field insights to develop permanent product enhancements.
• Drive root cause analyses that produce long-lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, and Customer Success to prioritize and execute improvements.
• Create and maintain reliability reports aiding engineers in data-driven product decision making.
• Provide support for regional Service Engineers and On-Farm Technical Support teams with complex investigations.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives by advancing systems and processes.
• Occasionally travel internationally to assist in field investigations and collaborate with local teams.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Engineering degree or comparable technical expertise.
• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving with a hands-on approach to root cause analysis.
• Experience with hardware, electronics, IoT devices, or connected products.
• Confident use of technical data, warranty statistics, and customer insights to detect trends and suggest improvements.
• Strong collaboration skills across multiple departments.
• Adaptable, curious mindset and excellent communication abilities in dynamic environments.
• Prior exposure to AgTech, manufacturing, or product development is advantageous but not mandatory.
