About the Role
Luna Rae Jewellery, located in Brookvale, Sydney NSW, is seeking a highly organised Product Coordinator to join our expanding team. This role is hands-on and integral to supporting product management, inventory control, and daily business operations. Collaborating closely with our Director, you will play a key role in overseeing new product launches, managing stock levels, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire process of new product launches from ideation through to website publication.
- Manage inventory and maintain optimal stock levels across the jewellery collections.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding production schedules, quality assurance, and delivery coordination.
- Develop and update product information, including SKUs and detailed specifications.
- Assist with purchasing decisions and production planning activities.
- Monitor product quality and address any supplier-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate product samples, manage photography sessions, and organize product launch timelines.
- Support the development of new products and the design of samples.
- Help manage personalised jewellery production, focusing on custom collections.
- Contribute to enhancing business systems and processes to support growth.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptionally organised with keen attention to detail.
- Proactive ownership of projects and drives tasks to completion.
- Capable of juggling multiple projects effectively.
- Confident communicator with both suppliers and internal teams.
- Enjoys problem-solving and streamlining processes.
- Competent with spreadsheets and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Prior experience in product coordination, inventory management, buying, operations, or administration preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Desired Skills
- Experience within the jewellery or fashion industries is advantageous.
- Background or interest in jewellery or product design; the role provides training in basic jewellery bench skills to assist with custom pieces.
- Familiarity with Shopify platform.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or basic CAD software.
Work Conditions & Benefits
- Position requires 25 to 38 hours per week with flexible scheduling available for an ideal candidate.
- This is an in-house role based at our Brookvale showroom and office.
- Immediate start is possible.
