About the Role
As a Process Improvement Analyst within the Supply Chain Program Management team, you will play a vital role in advancing the effectiveness of Aramark Canada's supply chain through comprehensive data analysis, developing business intelligence solutions, and continually enhancing processes. This position requires analytical problem-solving, tool and dashboard creation, and constructing data infrastructure to facilitate smarter, data-driven decisions for clients and suppliers alike. This is a hybrid opportunity at the Mississauga head office.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage analytical tools, dashboards, and reports for departments such as Procurement, Execution, and Finance.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and automated data delivery systems to enhance business reliability.
- Maintain internal web applications supporting operational needs and data access within the organization.
- Interpret business needs and design scalable BI solutions and data models catering to both internal and external users.
- Identify opportunities to optimize efficiency by automating manual processes and leveraging technology.
- Contribute to the development of AI-supported tools and workflows as part of ongoing innovation efforts.
- Work in collaboration with teams across the data platform to deliver sustainable and well-organized solutions on strong data foundations.
- Handle ad hoc analyses and data requests, ensuring timely and accurate insights for the broader supply chain team.
- Engage cross-functionally to understand and deliver solutions that provide measurable business value.
- Champion continuous improvement through challenging existing methods and proposing smarter approaches to data utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in analytical roles focused on data or process improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and debugging queries on relational or cloud-based data systems.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
- Familiarity with data automation or ETL tools, like Alteryx, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or similar is considered an asset.
- Exposure to web application development or front-end technologies is beneficial.
- Background in foodservice, supply chain, retail, or consumer packaged goods is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Suite.
