Role Overview

We invite you to join our expanding Austin, TX team as a Principal Technical Recruiter. This crucial position involves playing a key role in constructing and supporting our technology and product development groups throughout the Americas. The incumbent will devise and execute advanced recruiting strategies to source top-tier technical professionals within a competitive landscape. Working in close partnership with hiring managers and leadership from Product and Engineering, you will contribute significantly to forming world-class teams that lead technological progress while upholding our mission of simplifying and reducing the cost of international money transfers. This role reports directly to the Recruiting Lead for Product/Engineering and Core and provides an excellent opportunity to shape our organization's growth and foster an inclusive, vibrant culture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy innovative, scalable hiring approaches tailored to varied technical roles such as Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, DevOps, and Security, aligning recruitment efforts with business goals.
Establish and nurture strong connections with premier technical candidates in Austin and across the US tech market, ensuring a positive recruitment experience from start to finish.
Develop a sustained talent pipeline by proactively engaging passive candidates and maintaining long-term relationships for future hiring needs.
Implement inventive sourcing tactics and utilize industry networks to attract elite candidates within a competitive setting.
Collaborate with Employer Brand and Marketing teams to create targeted hiring campaigns and represent the company at community events, boosting brand recognition among technical professionals.
Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to support recruitment through talent mapping, competitor benchmarking, and compensation analysis.
Leverage data analytics to detect hiring challenges and opportunities, continuously enhancing recruitment processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
Work alongside the People team to guarantee smooth candidate onboarding and cultural integration.
Provide mentorship and potentially lead junior recruiters or sourcing professionals, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience working as an in-house recruiter, specifically with a proven record of recruiting for product and engineering roles within the technology industry.
Comprehensive understanding of the technical hiring landscape, with proficiency in advanced sourcing tools, semantic search technologies, and automation workflows.
Ability to assess candidates beyond technical competencies, evaluating cultural fit and alignment with company values.
Exceptional communication and influencing capabilities to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Self-driven, adaptable, and resourceful with a passion for adopting new HR technologies and optimizing recruitment workflows.
