About the Role
This position is centered in the ophthalmology field and involves managing and organizing accounts within an assigned territory. The individual will map the territory, aim to meet sales targets, and adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Execute marketing plans devised by management in collaboration with supervisors by introducing new products and reinforcing existing offerings.
- Conduct ongoing research and industry analysis to stay informed and share relevant updates and articles with retailers, practitioners, and colleagues.
- Deliver necessary training sessions to practitioners and their assistants regarding product knowledge and correct usage.
- Maintain a professional company image through exemplary work ethics, comprehensive product knowledge, and awareness of procedures and competition.
- Professionally manage customer complaints by coordinating with the sales manager as needed.
- Respond knowledgeably to customer inquiries.
- Gather detailed information on competitive products including formulation, packaging, price, and offers.
- Apply selling techniques conforming to SOPs to promote and sell the full product range equally.
- Achieve sales objectives by following a monthly schedule specific to the territory.
- Conduct at least 15 sales visits daily, providing recent industry information and closing sales deals.
- Handle order processing by taking orders, preparing quotations, negotiating payment terms, and coordinating with customer service.
- Request supervisor approval for discounts or deviations from the price list.
- Follow up professionally on client payments.
- Complete sales cycles regularly by visiting current and potential customers within the territory.
- Coordinate troubleshooting of existing products by involving supervisors for proper resolution.
- Ensure continuous follow-up on products already sold.
- Optimize time management within the territory while minimizing costs.
- Maintain organized records of customer histories, requests, and dealings through green file documentation.
- Develop monthly schedules in coordination with supervisors.
- Submit daily reports detailing activities and achievements.
Job Conditions
- The role requires constant travel in the field.
- Due to the remote nature and travel, daily email communication and connectivity are mandatory.
- Holding a valid driving license is essential.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent; Master's degree is advantageous.
- Experience: 1-2 years in sales.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hardware usage; in-depth understanding of company products.
