About the Role
We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Business Advisory Services in Auckland. This leadership position offers the chance to take direct ownership of client relationships, notably within the Property & Construction sector, and actively contribute to the growth and development of the practice. You'll collaborate closely with a Partner and sector leader, leading client engagements and providing trusted advice beyond compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage a significant client portfolio with a focus on Property & Construction sector
- Take full ownership of client relationships and outcomes
- Apply technical accounting and tax expertise combined with commercial insight to support clients’ compliance and business decisions
- Identify new opportunities to add value and build trust with business owners and decision makers
- Lead, coach, and mentor emerging advisors to foster their development
- Work directly with senior leadership in shaping team and client results
Candidate Profile
- Experience working within Business Advisory Services at a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm
- Strong technical skills in accounting and taxation
- Confidence managing client conversations and sustaining long-term relationships
- Commercially minded with curiosity about clients' businesses
- Ability to distill complex issues into practical solutions
- Collaborative leadership approach with passion for nurturing others
- Self-motivated, accountable, and eager for continued growth
