Logistics Analytics Trainee

About the Role

foodpanda, part of the global Delivery Hero Group, operates as a leading local delivery service across approximately 65 countries. With its headquarters in Berlin and being publicly traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, foodpanda focuses on providing swift and seamless delivery experiences. We seek a Logistics Analytics Trainee focused on 3PL Vendor Management to join our last-mile operations team. This role involves tracking vendor performance, analyzing operational key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting reporting activities, and coordinating with internal and external partners to maintain efficient daily logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor daily and weekly performance metrics of delivery partners.
• Track critical KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, incidence of failed deliveries, and SLA adherence.
• Assist in investigating service disruptions and escalating issues when necessary.
• Generate performance reports and develop dashboards for management review.
• Manage 3PL vendor operations including rider placement and tracking performance targets.
• Support processing vendor payments in accordance with contracts and invoices.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational challenges and delivery escalations.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of SOPs governing 3PL vendor management.
• Assist in project management duties across cross-functional initiatives aimed at operational improvements.
• Support ongoing enhancements of rider operational processes and general logistics functions.

Candidate Qualifications

• Currently studying for a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL and Python is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to create dashboards.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-moving operational environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, dependability, and eagerness to learn.
