About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and comfort of guests at Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, non-management position involves vigilant supervision of swimming areas, enforcing facility rules, and providing emergency assistance as needed. The role requires maintaining cleanliness around the pool, handling towels per company procedures, and promoting a friendly environment for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Use appropriate rescue techniques when swimmers require help.
• Monitor designated swimming zones to detect dangerous situations, unusual activities, or swimmers in distress.
• Enforce recreational facility standards and inform supervisors of guests unable to safely participate in activities.
• Provide aid to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Tidy and arrange towels according to company standards; clean poolside areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to management promptly.
• Complete mandatory safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Protect company property and confidential information.
• Support team members respectfully and work cooperatively to meet shared goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and carrying objects up to specific weight limits and maneuver safely on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Greet and communicate with guests professionally and answer phone calls appropriately.
• Carry out other reasonable job duties assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• No prior relevant work or supervisory experience required.
• Certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.
• Training certifications or licenses mandated by local and state agencies.
• Ability to use fitness training equipment.
