Role Overview
You will contribute to the Corporate Functions team focused on Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, optimizing purchasing and procurement workflows efficiently. This role serves both national and global internal service units and employees.
Location Options
Offices in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt (Main), Hamburg, Hannover, Köln, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Mannheim, München, Nürnberg, and Stuttgart.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial tenders, negotiations, and contracting for external goods and services across diverse projects.
- Apply analytical skills to shape supplier management and develop strategies focused on strategically critical supply needs.
- Drive automation and control of procurement procedures to deliver optimal results for stakeholders.
- Analyze procurement and financial key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and recommending actions.
- Serve as an operational point of contact, maintaining clear communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completed degree in economics/business administration or a comparable commercial qualification such as industrial clerk.
- Focus areas: Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Purchasing & Procurement Management, or similar programs with IT emphasis.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT procurement, preferably including expertise in Digital Workplace solutions, cloud/network infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
- Strong initiative, assertiveness, quick comprehension, analytical work style, and commercial understanding of financial figures.
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written; excellent skills in MS Office and SAP MM or SAP Ariba.
