Centorrino Technologies (CT) is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its Finance team in Coburg, Victoria. Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices, payments, customer invoices and incoming receipts within required deadlines and with a high level of accuracy.

  • Track overdue receivables and assist with collection activity to support healthy cash flow.

  • Manage internal credit card processing and administer the Zoho system.
  • Prepare journals and assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support BAS, FBT and other statutory reporting requirements, as well as budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting tasks.
  • Assist with external audits and help ensure records comply with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to finance-related queries from internal teams, customers and suppliers.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to support smooth financial operations.
  • Look for ways to improve finance processes, controls and efficiency, and contribute to finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience in a Junior Accountant, Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or similar finance position.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, Business Central, SAP or similar systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial processing and reconciliation work.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational ability.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, handle multiple deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Capability to work as part of a team while taking responsibility for individual tasks.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow and support continuous improvement.
  • Valid Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check are required.
