Role overview

This position is for an Investment Banking Associate within Nomura’s Investment Banking Division in Singapore. The role is licensed and sits in a global financial services organisation that operates across more than 30 countries and regions. Nomura’s business spans retail, wholesale (including global markets and investment banking), and investment management, with a long history dating back to 1925.

The investment banking team provides advisory and capital-raising support to clients, combining market knowledge with tailored solutions. Its work covers mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, restructuring, and financing across a wide range of industries.

What you will do

  • Work on both execution and client coverage activities, including valuation work, financial modelling, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal financing, and transaction process coordination.
  • Carry out business and sector research to support client discussions and deal execution.
  • Prepare marketing presentations, transaction materials, and other client-facing outputs.
  • Handle additional tasks assigned by senior bankers as needed.
  • Support the growth of junior bankers through coaching, training, and mentoring.
  • Be based in Singapore, with possible travel to priority markets for origination and execution assignments.

What is expected
