직무 설명
Overview
We are seeking an Import & Export Documentation Executive to join a prominent Shipping & Logistics company based in Kolkata. This role demands proficiency in NVOCC/Liner operations and extensive expertise in handling export-import documentation effectively.
Key Duties
- Manage comprehensive Export and Import Bill of Lading (BL) documentation processes.
- Generate BL numbers, prepare and distribute original BLs, amend documents as necessary, surrender BLs, and issue pre-alerts to clients and agents.
- Collaborate with the Accounts department for deal sheet verification, file compilation, and invoicing assistance.
- Maintain meticulous job files, documentation, and MIS reports, ensuring precise system data entry.
- Prepare and submit operational and strategic performance reports to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with international agents and serve as a liaison between Customer Service and Operations units.
- Ensure prompt and accurate filing of Import General Manifest (IGM) and Export General Manifest (EGM) entries in the system.
- Issue Delivery Orders (DO) adhering to company regulations and statutory requirements.
- Oversee carting formalities and slot allocation to enable smooth shipment workflow.
- Verify accuracy of documentation and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Shipping, NVOCC, Liner, or Freight Forwarding sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of export/import documentation and shipping procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and shipment documentation software tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation capabilities.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of working efficiently in fast-paced settings.
Preferred Industry Background
- Experience in NVOCC operations.
- Familiarity with Shipping Lines.
- Liner Operations expertise.
- Freight Forwarding knowledge.
Additional Information
Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India
CTC Range: INR 350000 to 370000 annually
