Overview

This role requires completion of tasks related to personnel management and administration within the Brandon School Division in Manitoba, Canada. The position demands at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in human resources management or a related field, along with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. The work must be conducted on-site, with no remote option available.

Key Responsibilities

Process classification, staffing, and other personnel documentation
Maintain and update personnel databases and records
Manage registration systems and files for personnel data
Prepare information related to staff relations and communicate health and safety information
Provide basic guidance to clients and the public on personnel matters
Coordinate in-house and external staff training sessions
Respond to inquiries regarding human resources topics
Organize advertising and posting of job vacancies
Screen applicants, administer employment tests, and conduct reference checks
Compile and generate reports related to personnel activities

Required Skills and Experience

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Windows operating system
Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities
Dependability, initiative, sound judgment, and teamwork orientation
