Grocery Shopper Expert

Position Overview

We are seeking a Grocery Shopper Expert to join our team on an hourly contract basis. This remote role offers a competitive pay rate between $35 and $50 per hour and requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and purchase grocery items tailored for retail and wholesale business needs.
• Conduct market analysis to track trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
• Engage in supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and agree on beneficial contracts.
• Foster and maintain strong supplier partnerships to guarantee quality and consistent product availability.
• Oversee stock levels and proactively manage potential inventory shortages.
• Create targeted purchasing strategies for various product categories.
• Effectively communicate market insights and procurement decisions to relevant cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven background in retail, wholesale, procurement, or grocery buying roles.
