About Darling International Canada Inc.

Role Summary
We are recruiting for a short-term General Labour position based in Winnipeg, focused on sustainable environmental operations. The role involves travel to multiple regional sites to clean and replace green bins, as well as washing truck and trailer equipment. This position starts immediately and is offered on a 6-month contract.
Work Schedule
The work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with possible overtime as needed.
Key Duties
- Operate a wash van within the yard and travel to customer locations.
- Clean and wash grease bins and manage minor spills.
- Assist with yard maintenance and general clean-up tasks.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Physically fit to work outdoors and undertake labor-intensive activities.
- Dependable, self-driven, and capable of following instructions.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $19.00.
- Includes safety footwear and boot programs.
