About the Role
welevel is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to shape the interface and player experience for a survival city-builder RPG. This role will help build the game’s UI from the ground up and contribute to an ambitious AAA production.
What You’ll Do
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for HUDs, menus, inventory screens, and other interactive game UI components.
- Improve the overall user journey and refine interaction patterns so the experience feels smooth and intuitive.
- Partner with systems and gameplay teams to design clear interfaces for crafting, trading, and automation features.
- Make sure the interface works well and scales properly across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
- Run user tests, collect feedback, and keep iterating on the design.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of hands-on UI/UX design experience in games.
- Comfort using Figma, Photoshop, and game engines such as Unreal Engine.
- A solid grasp of accessibility principles and player behavior.
- Experience with survival, city-builder, or RPG UI design is considered an advantage.
- This is an onsite role in Munich, so EU work authorization is required.
