Job Summary
We are hiring a customer-oriented Front End Supervisor responsible for supporting and managing staff who prepare coffee beverages and food for customers while fostering a welcoming and hospitable environment. Your role includes assisting customers with retail selections, replenishing stock, processing transactions, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences centered on a passion for coffee and service excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Warmly greet every customer and deliver personable, efficient service.
- Take and manage food and beverage orders with a thorough understanding of menu items to ensure accurate and excellent preparation.
- Possess expert knowledge of coffee-making processes, including specialty drink preparation.
- Enter orders correctly and promptly using the POS system.
- Clean and clear counters and tables after each guest's visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations throughout shifts, following clean-as-you-go practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred experience in merchandising.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Familiarity with food service regulation standards preferred.
- Possession or willingness to obtain ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification.
- Strong abilities in customer service and interpersonal communication.
- Capacity to stand for extended durations during shifts.
- Quick decision-making skills to resolve guest issues according to company policies.
- Excellent skills in conflict management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
