Role overview
This position focuses on generating high-conviction long/short equity ideas through rigorous financial analysis, earnings interpretation, and the creation of clear investment theses. Compensation is set at $200 per hour, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours each week. The role is fully remote and based in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve detailed financial models that support long/short investing decisions.
- Create well-structured investment memos that clearly explain the thesis and associated risks.
- Analyze earnings results, build forecasts, and assess variances across different sectors.
- Carry out market sizing and total addressable market analysis to assess opportunity scale and positioning.
- Convert research findings into concise outputs that are ready for decision-making.
