Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all electrical and related maintenance tasks across the property to the highest standards.
• Complete assigned duties autonomously while ensuring prompt execution.
• Respond immediately to any electrical issues within the scope of work.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels in the workshop, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Follow daily schedules and guarantee timely completion of tasks.
• Be well-versed with the hotel’s emergency protocols and maintain readiness for any emergency situations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all applicable company documentation, particularly the Operational Standards Manual relevant to electrical responsibilities.
• Support Task Force Teams during new hotel openings by providing electrical expertise.
• Deliver courteous, punctual, and professional service consistent with Rixos policies, collaborating effectively with the maintenance team to ensure all guest rooms and facilities are operational.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
• At least three years of practical experience in electrical maintenance or installation within the hospitality or facilities management sectors.
• Strong skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems.
• Competent in interpreting electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Efficient in managing inventory and stock control.
• Capable of working independently and handling multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards and emergency procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

Additional Information

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Duty Engineer, this role requires adherence to Rixos Jumeirah Beach Dubai policies and engineering procedures. The electrician is expected to provide personalized, efficient, and courteous technical assistance while fostering team collaboration to maintain top-quality hotel operations.
