About the Role

Join Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand as an eCom Operations Specialist in Ashburton, Canterbury. This role focuses on managing and maintaining efficient process flows within an assigned workstream while collaborating closely with the team leader for enhanced productivity. The position demands strict adherence to established guidelines to ensure uninterrupted completion of tasks related to online order fulfillment and quality standards for fresh food.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee process workflows to guarantee timely and accurate completion of online order picking and ensure fresh product quality compliance.
• Lead and supervise the team ('swarm'), provide on-the-job coaching and training, and act as Acting Store Manager during designated shifts.
• Identify issues within the processes and escalate them promptly to the Function Lead for swift resolution.
• Promote workplace safety and wellbeing by following safety protocols, reporting hazards, and prioritizing team health.
• Engage actively in team communication and collaborative initiatives to sustain a positive work atmosphere.

• Demonstrates excellence in process management and a commitment to ongoing learning.
• Proficient in fostering collaborative relationships across various functions and stakeholders.
• Effective leadership skills including delegation, monitoring, coaching, and motivating team members.
• Expertise in compliance standards along with strong communication capabilities for task and standard clarity.
• Behaves consistently in alignment with company values.
• Availability to work four weekend shifts monthly and at least one evening weekly.

Working Hours

The typical roster includes shifts such as:

• Monday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• Wednesday: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
