About the Role

Brasserie Astoria Singapore is looking for a motivated Demi Chef to become part of its kitchen team. The restaurant brings a refined brasserie experience to one of Singapore’s landmark heritage venues, combining classic elegance with a contemporary feel. What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support day-to-day kitchen operations in your assigned section and help maintain the standards expected in a fine dining environment.

  • Prepare and cook dishes for your section, which may include hot kitchen, pastry, or cold kitchen, while following the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.
  • Keep your station well-organized, clean, and ready for service, while helping the kitchen run efficiently.
  • Watch food quality closely so that each dish is consistent in taste, appearance, and presentation.
  • Track stock levels and inform the Sous Chef or Head Chef if ingredients run low or equipment needs attention.
  • Work in close coordination with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth service and clear communication.
  • Support junior chefs and apprentices when needed and help maintain a positive team environment.
