Role Overview
We have an immediate opening for a full-time, permanent Cylinder Delivery Driver based at our Newcastle branch. This role involves multiple drop deliveries, ensuring a timely and efficient delivery of gas cylinders while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a busy delivery schedule with multiple drop-offs daily.
- Utilize handheld scanner technology to record deliveries and manage stock tracking.
- Reload LPG cylinders as needed during routes.
- Load and unload the cylinder truck safely and efficiently.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and address any client needs professionally.
- Perform any other assigned duties related to the role.
Required Skills and Experience
- Possession of a valid MR or HR driver’s license is mandatory.
- Forklift license is preferable but not essential.
- A minimum of one year experience in multi-drop delivery driving is required.
- Good physical fitness due to the manual handling tasks involved.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
- A customer-focused mindset with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Provision of a Demerit Points Statement is required.
- Compliance with a National Police Check as the role involves client service provision.
- Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment medical examination.
