Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic growth initiatives across APMEA West markets aligned with commercial goals.
  • Provide insightful analyses to enhance business performance and support volume and value share growth.
  • Build trusted partnerships with cross-functional internal stakeholders by fostering strong collaborative relationships.
  • Integrate Revenue Growth Management (RGM) principles into daily decision-making to optimize pricing, promotions, and product portfolio strategies.
  • Lead Pricing and Excise committees to balance market competitiveness with sustainable profitability within regulatory limits.
  • Facilitate business expansion by identifying and executing new category launches and opportunities in key markets.
  • Deliver comprehensive industry analysis including macroeconomic trends, regulatory impacts, competitor intelligence, and consumer behaviors to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and develop dynamic industry models for precise forecasting, scenario planning, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure resource optimization by directing investment decisions based on data aligned with strategic priorities and consumer focus.
  • Oversee Marketing Spend and Capital Expenditure budgets for APMEA West, ensuring optimal allocation aligned with commercial plans.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate business case outcomes and value realization.
  • Manage Total Customer Investment (TCI) metrics to enhance investment efficiency across APMEA West markets.
  • Drive marketing spend effectiveness, particularly in major touchpoints such as Brand Activation, ISF, Agency, and Research investments.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance of A-West markets to provide actionable insights supporting commercial decisions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all commercial finance reporting requirements and regional submissions, including pricing trackers and competition reports.
  • Create and maintain Financial KPI dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with Group IFRS accounting standards in reported results.
  • Adhere to governance and risk policies, managing controls related to marketing investments, pricing governance, and control frameworks.
  • Lead and develop the Global Business Services (GBS) team by providing guidance and supporting team goals achievement.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 4 years of finance experience within global FMCG or similarly fast-paced consumer goods sectors.
  • Professional finance qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is required; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS standards, contemporary accounting practices, and internal controls compliance.
  • Experienced in financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and revenue/cost/margin variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with commercial finance including pricing strategy, marketing investment management, and capital allocation.
  • High level analytical ability to interpret complex data, challenge assumptions, and support informed business decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite; experience with SAP/BPC and business intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial insight with excellent communication skills to simplify complex concepts effectively.
  • Experienced in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and demonstrating integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Leadership skills with capacity to inspire and grow team members is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills across finance and business teams.
