Job Overview
We seek dedicated full-time cleaning operatives to join our team at a residential care facility located in Bray, County Wicklow. This role requires an average of 35 working hours weekly, spread across Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum carpets and mop or buff floors thoroughly.
- Clean toilets and polish glass and brass fixtures.
- Collect refuse and dispose of it appropriately.
- Operate cleaning products and equipment safely following COSHH guidelines.
- Place safety signs during cleaning activities to alert others.
- Report any damages or safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain vigilance on security matters and report suspicious behavior.
- Participate in job-related training sessions as required.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively within team settings and deliver outstanding customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven good employment record; prior cleaning experience preferred.
- Familiarity with using cleaning apparatus is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage workload efficiently.
- Attributes including flexibility, honesty, and dependability.
- Successful Garda vetting clearance is mandatory.
