Role overview
Alpha Leadership Co. is recruiting a Chief Commercial Officer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to steer a major commercial transformation. The position reports directly to the CEO and is intended to help evolve a long-established, PIF-owned organization from a scale-focused operator into a more diversified, technology-driven solutions business.
This is a high-visibility executive role with end-to-end accountability for commercial strategy, market entry and execution, business development, brand leadership, communications, and procurement oversight across current as well as newly launched business lines. The role serves as a central connector between the CEO, operating units, and corporate teams.
Key responsibilities
- Set and direct group-wide commercial strategy and go-to-market plans across several business lines.
- Push sales performance, revenue expansion, and customer growth toward clearly defined objectives.
- Lead the introduction of new products and services, with a strong shift toward technology-enabled offerings.
- Own brand direction, marketing activity, and corporate communications and public relations.
- Provide governance for sales, bid management, account management, and procurement activities.
- Create reporting dashboards and tracking tools to monitor pipeline health and overall commercial performance.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience spanning business strategy, branding, marketing/public relations, and commercial leadership, including 5 or more years in senior leadership roles.
- A strong history of establishing a high-performing commercial function, preferably within a comparable B2B or services-based organization.
- Practical, energetic leadership style with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and maintain effective government relationships.
- Prior exposure to the Saudi Arabia business environment is a strong advantage.
- Solid commercial and financial understanding, including the ability to develop business cases and financial models.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an MBA is preferred.
