직무 설명
Position Overview
The Cashier role is vital in delivering prompt, friendly, precise, and secure customer service. Responsibilities include processing checkout and return transactions and overseeing the Self-Checkout zone.
Key Duties
- Handle checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise and maintain the Self-Checkout area to ensure smooth operations.
- Continuously acquire product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures to reduce inventory shrinkage.
- For Head Cashiers: allocate cashiers' positions, facilitate price checks, approve point of sale transactions and markdowns across various service points including registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Serve as the initial point of escalation for customer concerns and support the training and coaching of front-end staff by participating in onboarding and utilizing available coaching resources.
Experience Requirement
The Head Cashier role requires a minimum of one year of prior cashier experience.
