Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently and promptly handle purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote company initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity programs.
• Assist customers in bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work practices like proper lifting techniques and maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
• Ensure security and accuracy of the cash register transactions by carefully managing cash and following company policies.
• Refer certain service and transaction matters to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $16.90 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
