About Baseten
Baseten provides mission-critical inference infrastructure for leading AI companies, including Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By combining applied AI research, adaptable infrastructure, and developer-friendly tooling, the company helps teams at the edge of AI move advanced models into production. Baseten is scaling rapidly and recently closed a $1.5B Series F led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital.
In this role, you will help shape the platform that engineers rely on to launch AI products.
What you will do
- Drive major brand initiatives across digital channels, live events, and out-of-home placements.
- Work closely with engineering and product marketing on significant product launches.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, visually strong communication.
- Develop Baseten's visual identity into a scalable brand system.
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept to final launch while partnering with marketing, product, engineering, and leadership.
- Contribute to the employer brand and help shape the experience of new team members joining Baseten.
- Continuously elevate the quality of design across every customer-facing interaction.
What you bring
- A portfolio that shows excellent craft, strong visual judgment, and careful attention to detail.
- A genuine commitment to quality and a habit of refining the small things.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in collaborative teams.
- The ability to build systems when needed, not only produce individual assets.
- Confidence taking ownership and leading cross-functional work from start to finish.
- Interest in technical products and the ability to make complex ideas understandable without losing nuance.
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment where high standards matter.
- Well-developed design opinions and the ability to explain what works and what does not.
Bonus experience
- Hands-on experience with motion design and animation.
- Background designing for developers or other highly technical audiences.
