Role Overview
The Billing Specialist will manage all billing operations including processing invoicing transactions accurately and in line with contract terms. Responsibilities also include addressing billing inquiries, resolving disputes, maintaining effective communication with customers, supporting collection activities as necessary, and executing additional tasks as directed by supervisory or management personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily billing activities following the terms of contracted services.
- Handle billing inquiries and dispute resolutions promptly while communicating clearly with customers.
- Support collection processes where applicable.
- Complete any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in billing and/or collections roles.
- Preferably possess a Business or Accounting degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to analyze and apply contract terms accurately.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous attention to detail with analytical skills considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Epicor systems is beneficial.
