Overview
We seek a skilled Backend Developer to architect, build, and maintain dependable and scalable backend systems. This role involves creating APIs, managing data workflows, and optimizing system performance and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and support backend services and API endpoints.
- Construct scalable and efficient backend architectures ensuring system reliability.
- Work closely with frontend engineers, product teams, and other collaborators.
- Enhance database query performance and overall system effectiveness.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable codebase.
- Apply best practices for security and data protection.
- Diagnose and resolve issues, as well as update existing systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in backend software development.
- Strong command of at least one backend programming language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledgeable in database technologies, including SQL and/or NoSQL systems.
- Solid understanding of system design concepts, scalability solutions, and optimization techniques.
- Experience using version control tools like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices-based architectures.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment workflows (CI/CD).
- Exposure to DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience working with AI/ML systems or related data pipelines.
