Role Overview
As an Assistant QA Engineer, you will oversee various quality assurance activities within the organization to ensure products meet customer and regulatory standards.
Key Duties
- Manage quality-related processes effectively.
- Develop and establish quality control plans tailored to client specifications.
- Create pre-production documentation for client approvals.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze customer complaints or non-conformance issues.
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes and perform trend analyses to drive continuous improvements.
- Identify, examine, and address product deficiencies.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to quality system requirements.
- Draft and revise internal standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Enhance and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assess QMS-related challenges and ensure procedural compliance.
- Provide support during customer audits and third-party inspections.
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for vendors.
- Plan and execute or lead internal QMS audits as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of Quality Management System standards.
- Good familiarity with applicable product standards, technical codes, and regulations.
- Experience serving as a lead or internal auditor within QMS frameworks.
- Proficiency in utilizing quality tools and measurement techniques.
- Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving capabilities.
