직무 설명
Role Overview
This position offers an exciting chance to be part of the Croydon Crisis Plus pilot within Croydon Adult Mental Health Services. Working closely with secondary care community mental health teams across the Croydon directorate, you will serve as an Assistant Psychologist under the guidance of qualified psychologists.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will take the lead in collaboratively developing multi-agency crisis plans targeting high-need service users and their care teams. These service users often exhibit complex and sometimes challenging behaviors during acute crises. You will apply a diverse set of psychological skills including assessment, formulation, and systemic approaches.
This role includes delivering focused short-term interventions to service users, their carers, and mental health professionals to design Anticipatory Management Plans. A crucial task is to perform detailed assessments by reviewing developmental histories, behavioral patterns, and crisis service usage documented clinically and gained through consultations. This will help formulate guidance for service users and their support network on managing future crises and promoting recovery.
Maintaining strong multi-disciplinary liaison is central to continuously enhance and implement these crisis management plans. Attendance and active participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and ward rounds are required to support clinical decision-making.
Data Management
An important aspect involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data from service users and professionals. Managing multiple linked databases to identify high-intensity users (HIUs) forms part of the role.
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite and involves working across several Croydon locations including Bethlem Royal Hospital, Croydon University Hospital, and Croydon Community teams.
