About the Role
Join the Hub Policy & Development Department within the Strategy & Policy Division, focusing on shaping economic regulations and strategic development for Singapore's port, ferry terminals, and marine service sectors. The role aims to sustain and enhance Singapore's standing as a leading maritime hub while protecting its maritime economic interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and revising economic regulatory frameworks, addressing pricing strategies and service standards.
- Ensuring adequate capacity of port and ferry terminals to fulfill industry and passenger demands.
- Monitoring port developments and evaluating their implications for Singapore's maritime landscape.
- Collaborating with international port authorities to exchange best practices and identify areas of mutual cooperation.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing detailed reports and delivering presentations. Strong analytical abilities, meticulousness, and organizational skills are essential. The role requires both independent initiative and effective teamwork. While prior policy formulation experience is advantageous, applicants without such experience are also encouraged to apply.
