Job description
Role Overview
The Tenant Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in building and managing a dynamic portfolio of food and beverage operators at the Seven Al Hamra Food Hall. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding, operational integration, commercial support, and strategic alignment of tenants with the Food Hall's brand identity, financial goals, and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and continually enhance a comprehensive tenant onboarding program, coordinating with Operations, Facilities, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Compliance to guarantee smooth store openings.
- Guide tenants through all onboarding stages including documentation, system integration, training, and operational readiness; offer structured orientation covering facilities, SOPs, brand standards, and policies.
- Review tenant-related plans such as menus, workflows, layouts, and equipment to ensure consistency with Food Hall operations.
- Serve as the primary commercial and operational liaison to tenants by maintaining consistent communication to track performance, satisfaction, and resolve issues in collaboration with other departments.
- Assist tenants with menu updating, concept development, and brand evolution within the Food Hall framework.
- Manage inquiries from prospective tenants and operators.
- Track sales and operational data via POS and other systems to monitor tenant performance; create monthly tenant dashboards analyzing revenue, orders, trends, and variances.
- Translate operational data into actionable insights and recommendations to optimize tenant and Food Hall performance; analyze customer feedback to detect improvement opportunities.
- Curate a well-balanced selection of cuisines, concepts, and pricing to maintain an attractive tenant mix; conduct gap analysis and manage onboarding/offboarding decisions based on market demands and financial objectives.
- Continuously research the market to identify and attract new operators locally and internationally.
- Develop tenant pipelines, onboarding roadmaps, and strategic curation plans aligned with the Food Hall vision, customer demographics, and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with senior management to plan phased expansions, replacements, and upgrades.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality industry, especially in food halls, retail leasing, or food and beverage operations.
- Proven experience managing multi-brand or multi-operator environments.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, menu design, and kitchen workflows.
- Interest in food trends and consumer behavior.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent command of verbal and written English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen paired with analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, POS systems, CRM, and reporting tools to develop performance dashboards.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with operators, landlords, and senior leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of bridging strategic plans with operational execution.
