Job Overview

Step into an engaging and inclusive team environment as an Assistant Department Manager at Woolworths Group in Ironbark, Queensland. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to lead in your first management position, support daily store operations, and build a successful retail career. Experience flexibility with a 4-day workweek designed to maintain a healthy work/life balance while delivering excellent service to customers.

Daily Schedule

  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Thursday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities and Role Purpose

  • Support and oversee daily functions within your department and collaborate across the store.
  • Contribute to providing customers with a consistently positive shopping experience and fostering a great workplace environment for the team.
  • Develop leadership skills through the Store Leadership Pathway, gaining department knowledge to uphold operational excellence.

  • Prioritize safety by ensuring all team members follow correct procedures.
