Overview
Ma’aden Barrick Copper Company is recruiting a General Administrator for our Mineral Resources Management department. This vital role focuses on delivering efficient administrative and coordination support within a dynamic mining environment. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all departmental activities comply with Barrick’s "Zero Harm" safety commitment and site-specific protocols.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance including scheduling meetings, validating contractor data, and maintaining accurate department records and files.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, visa, and work permits for team members in accordance with company policies and Saudi labor regulations.
- Manage daily administrative operations such as site access requests, accommodation bookings, timesheets, and report preparation, ensuring organized documentation archiving.
- Support procurement processes by assisting with purchase orders, tracking invoices, and ensuring timely vendor payments collaborating with Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Assist with cost tracking and scheduling for geology and mining-related projects.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of PPE, field supplies, and office materials required by the geology team.
- Accurately input data into the SAP system, generate reports, and contribute to data analysis that aids decision-making within the Mineral Resources Management department.
- Act as a communication liaison among internal departments and external stakeholders, following up on minor projects and ensuring coordination between geology, operations, and support teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in administrative or office support roles.
- Previous administrative experience in mining or industrial sectors is highly valued.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral; Arabic proficiency is beneficial.
- Exceptional organization, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in fast-paced settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling productive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
