  • Troubleshoot any tooling-related production challenges and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness within the tool room environment.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma or ITI in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in tooling design and tool room operations, ideally within rubber, plastic, or polymer manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for designing and modifying tooling components.
  • Strong understanding of mold and die design, including extrusion, compression, and injection molding processes.
  • Hands-on experience with tool room machinery such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, drilling machines, and fitting tools.
  • Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T standards.
  • Good grasp of machining processes and lifecycle management of production tooling.
  • Quality-oriented and detail-focused, with an ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Exposure to silicone extrusion tooling and familiarity with CAD/CAM software or CNC interfaces are advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills for handling tooling development and vendor coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month, adjustable based on experience and CAD expertise.
  • Opportunities to innovate tooling solutions for industrial rubber and silicone products.
  • Involvement in complete tooling processes from initial design through production execution.
  • Collaborative work environment involving R&D, quality assurance, and production teams.
