Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join a leading global financial institution in Dublin on a 6-month rolling contract. The role involves contributing to strategic projects focused on Financial Reporting and Controls within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
- Lead initiatives relating to a critical Financial Reporting and Control system.
- Engage throughout the entire project lifecycle from initial requirements to deployment and post-implementation.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, development teams, and fellow analysts to create and deliver impactful solutions.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts in the team.
- Handle complex production support tasks escalated beyond front-line support.
- Identify and drive process improvements and control enhancements aligned with business goals.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Senior Business Analyst in global banking or investment banking sectors.
- Strong knowledge of investment markets and financial products.
- Firm understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
- Proven ability to manage projects through the full software development lifecycle.
