Scanline Floater

Position Overview

The Scanline Floater role at MAC.BID involves preparing and managing products for the scanning team in order to facilitate smooth online auctions. This full-time hourly position requires working onsite in Rock Hill, SC, reporting directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Primary Duties

• Examine incoming products for evident defects
• Classify items as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Perform basic function tests on electronics to verify condition
• Place products onto the conveyor for scanning
• Remove scanned products promptly from the scanning area
• Sort and shelve items in designated bays according to auction and lot numbers
• Support the team in achieving both quantity and quality targets
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and disposing of trash from empty bays and scanning zones
• Complete additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

• Availability for onsite work; schedules vary Monday through Saturday with 8-hour shifts plus a 30-minute lunch, contingent on workload and management
• Capability to lift 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Technologically proficient
• Ability to stand and walk for extended durations
• Competent to follow written instructions and company policies
• Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent credential
