Job Overview

MAC.BID procures truckloads of returned and excess stock which are then sold individually through online auctions. The Scanline Floater plays a key role in preparing products for scanning, assisting the scanning team, and organizing items post-scanning according to established systems. This role reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess incoming products for visible defects.
  • Classify products into categories such as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
  • Conduct basic electronic functionality tests to determine condition.
  • Transfer products onto the conveyor belt for scanning.
  • Promptly remove items once they are scanned.
  • Organize products on shelves according to auction and lot identification numbers.
  • Support the team in achieving quantity and quality targets.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and disposing trash from vacant bays and scanning areas.
  • Carry out additional tasks designated by management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Capable of lifting 25 pounds individually and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Comfortable and proficient with technology.
  • Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and adhere to company policies.
  • Possession of a High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.
