About the Role
A leading company in Ireland, recognized among the top 10 workplaces, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst specializing in Microbiology to join their state-of-the-art, large-scale facility in Dublin. This position is part of an exciting and fast-paced €1 billion project, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies and advance your professional skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sterility testing on drug product samples to ensure contamination-free pharmaceuticals.
- Perform bacterial endotoxin testing on drug products, drug substances, raw materials, and utility samples within specified holding periods.
- Carry out bioburden testing on drug substances, raw materials, and utility samples ensuring test completion within required hold times.
- Execute growth promotion testing on media batches entering the laboratory to verify their suitability for microbial growth.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Possession of a Level 8 degree in Microbiology or a related field is mandatory.
- Proven extensive experience working in pharmaceutical or healthcare laboratories or in comparable technical roles.
- A strong foundation in microbiology, with knowledge of aseptic manufacturing processes is preferred but not strictly required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
