Quality Control Analyst Microbiology

A leading company in Ireland, recognized among the top 10 workplaces, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst specializing in Microbiology to join their state-of-the-art, large-scale facility in Dublin. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sterility testing on drug product samples to ensure contamination-free pharmaceuticals.
• Perform bacterial endotoxin testing on drug products, drug substances, raw materials, and utility samples within specified holding periods.
• Carry out bioburden testing on drug substances, raw materials, and utility samples ensuring test completion within required hold times.
• Execute growth promotion testing on media batches entering the laboratory to verify their suitability for microbial growth.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Possession of a Level 8 degree in Microbiology or a related field is mandatory.
• Proven extensive experience working in pharmaceutical or healthcare laboratories or in comparable technical roles.
• A strong foundation in microbiology, with knowledge of aseptic manufacturing processes is preferred but not strictly required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
