About ALO and Role Purpose

The Operations Associate plays a key part in enhancing profitability and operational efficiency within the store. Working closely with the Operations & Visual Manager and the Operations Lead, this role involves managing inventory processes, operational support, and providing actionable feedback to optimize the store's overall functioning.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute inventory management procedures to ensure maximum accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to analyze and resolve discrepancies in inventory accuracy by identifying process or system issues.
- Support critical operational tasks such as shipment processing, goods receiving, reverse transfers, sales floor replenishment, floor layout updates, and supply oversight.
- Maintain and advocate for high visual merchandising standards on the sales floor.
- Coordinate with teams handling reports, budgeting, expenses, inventory control, suppliers, technology, and facilities to maintain and optimize store operations.
- Promote workplace safety and operational efficiency by enforcing rigorous stockroom standards and procedures.
- Dynamically respond to the needs of the business, team, and customers within the retail space.
- Assist in implementing company-wide operational projects and initiatives alongside leadership.
- Efficiently process shipments to ensure smooth product flow including visual merchandising and daily replenishment excellence.
- Use business metrics insightfully to support and drive commercial strategies.
- Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
- Identify product issues and communicate inventory requirements to meet business objectives.
- Provide support to sales, service, and cashier departments as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably experience in customer-focused, sales, and operations environments.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and experiences.

- Self-driven, motivated to excel both individually and as part of a team.

- Physical ability to lift, push, carry, or move up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg).
- Ability to perform physical actions including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and safe ladder use.
- Capability to stand and be mobile throughout an entire work shift.
- Must provide valid proof of residence and work authorization.
Work Schedule
Employees should be flexible to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs. Schedules may change and are determined by the General Manager. Staff must be available during the busy Black Friday through early January holiday period.
