Maintenance Technician / Supervisor

Overview

Qatar Galvanizing Co. W.L.L., based in Doha, Qatar, invites applications from seasoned maintenance experts who excel at resolving technical challenges and leading teams. This role requires a solid foundation in industrial maintenance within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both planned preventive and repair maintenance on various industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and fix issues in production machines, cranes, forklifts, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other plant-related tools.
• Organize maintenance schedules designed to reduce downtime and optimize equipment availability.
• Oversee maintenance personnel and production teams to ensure tasks are completed securely, effectively, and punctually.
• Collaborate closely with the Production Head and Foreman to meet production goals and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of an ITI Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or associated disciplines.
• At least five years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, galvanizing, steel fabrication, or comparable heavy industry environments.
• Practical skills in servicing industrial machines, including overhead cranes, forklifts, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Proven ability in preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Supervisory experience in maintenance roles is advantageous.
