Role Overview
We are searching for experienced Forward Deployed Engineers — technical builders who design, construct, and deploy intelligent AI agent solutions within enterprise customer settings. You will collaborate closely with Deployment Strategists to deliver real, operational AI systems that generate tangible business results from day one. This role involves working either on a significant strategic account or managing multiple clients simultaneously, contributing to full-stack software delivery, customization, and configuration of AI platforms supporting mission-critical business needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement AI agents capable of autonomous actions within complex enterprise environments; these systems serve some of the largest global organizations.
- Architect intelligent agent logic including prompt design, reasoning workflows, tool integration, and seamless connection with customer systems via advanced AI platforms and large language models.
- Manage end-to-end technical components from system architecture through deployment and ongoing production validation, ensuring observability and robustness.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and other customer data services, including data modeling, deployment, and verification.
- Construct and update dashboards monitoring agent performance and key performance indicators to ensure product health and business impact.
- Lead rapid prototyping and MVP creation, transitioning concepts swiftly from design to deployable implementations.
- Collaborate directly with clients and partners, delivering best practices and enhancing their capabilities throughout each project engagement.
- Identify gaps, edge cases, and platform improvement opportunities, providing actionable feedback to senior engineers and product teams, shaping the evolution of AI platforms.
- Work alongside Deployment Strategists to translate client business challenges into practical, agent-based AI solutions that achieve measurable results.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of experience in software engineering or technical delivery, including significant exposure to production AI systems or full-stack development environments.
- A degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline.
- Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering, is essential.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with openness to learning new languages as needed.
- Practical experience with large language models and prompt engineering, with the ability to analyze and improve prompt performance.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, API design, and system integrations beyond mere consumption.
- Comfort engaging with sales teams and client architects in technical discussions.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, rigorously tested code and critically reviewing AI outputs.
- An active interest in emerging AI and data technologies, experimenting with novel tools and models, and a continuous learning mindset.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic team environments focused on building effective solutions collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to work closely with clients onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or certifications on the Salesforce platform (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist).
- Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, including orchestration design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Expertise in specialized AI delivery fields like data engineering, platform architecture, or headless system deployments.
